What's Happening This WeekFifth Sunday Of Easter During the fifth week of Easter, our Anglican congregation continues to journey deeper into the profound mysteries of Christ's resurrection. This week is marked by a sense of anticipation and preparation as we approach the celebration of Pentecost (in 3 weeks, May 19). As we reflect on the teachings of Jesus during His earthly ministry, we are reminded of His promise to send the Holy Spirit, the Advocate, who will empower and guide us in our faith journey. In this season of renewal and growth, we are called to cultivate the fruits of the Spirit ~ love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in our lives and communities. Through prayer, study, and fellowship, may we open our hearts to receive the transforming presence of the Holy Spirit, allowing it to ignite our souls and propel us forward in service to God and neighbor. |
